A subsequent clearance operation killed 15 terrorists, though the attack prompted the suspension of the Ziarat Superintendent of Police and the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate security lapses .

Meeting with Families of Martyrs

During the Quetta visit, the Prime Minister is expected to meet with families affected by terrorism. Officials indicate that he will meet relatives of those martyred in the recent incidents in Quetta, Hanna Urak, and Ziarat .
