QUETTA : Senator Manzoor Kakar visited the restive Hanna Orak area on Monday to express solidarity with local residents following recent violence, pledging to stand with the tribes “until the last drop of blood” and urging the government to take decisive action against armed groups .
Addressing a gathering of local community members, the senator said he remains in constant contact with security forces and the district administration. He assured residents that a comprehensive plan of action to address the deteriorating law and order situation would be formulated soon .
Kakar stressed that insecurity must be confronted with courage, determination, and a well-planned strategy. He confirmed that a large contingent of security forces had arrived in the area and appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to help restore peace .
The senator questioned the circumstances faced by local residents, asking, “What is our sin?” He urged the government to launch immediate operations against armed individuals operating in various villages of Hanna Orak and ensure the protection of lives and property .
The visit comes amid heightened tensions in the area following a reported armed attack on Sunday evening that left at least five people injured. Local sources alleged the attack was carried out by militants linked to a banned group, though authorities have not officially confirmed the identity of the attackers .
