KUWAIT: The Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as the repeated Iranian attacks against the country, calling them a serious violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and international law.
The ministry expressed its “strongest denunciation of the repeated heinous Iranian aggressions,” describing the incidents as a “flagrant violation” of Kuwait’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
The ministry focused on that such actions are unacceptable and threaten regional peace and stability.
In this regard, Kuwait warned that the alleged attacks not only undermine the country’s security but also weaken ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at reducing tensions in the Middle East.
These actions represent “a direct challenge to the international will” supporting dialogue, de-escalation, and peaceful conflict resolution.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that preserving regional stability requires all parties to respect the sovereignty and independence of states and adhere to international law.
It reasserted Kuwait’s commitment to supporting diplomatic solutions and maintaining peace in the region.
The ministry made it clear that Kuwait reserves the right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity.
It affirmed that the government remains fully committed to safeguarding its people as well as all residents living within the country.
“Kuwait reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, preserve its security and stability, and protect its people and the residents on its territory,” the statement said.
The ministry did not provide further details regarding the nature or extent of the alleged attacks but confirmed Kuwait’s determination to respond in accordance with international law and its national interests.
The latest statement comes at a time of heightened tensions across the region, where diplomatic efforts continue to focus on preventing further escalation and promoting stability through dialogue.
Kuwait reasserted its support for peaceful solutions and called for respect for the principles of sovereignty, non-interference, and international cooperation.
