QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Monday congratulated women who completed the first phase of the Balochistan Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme, reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to promoting women’s economic empowerment.
In a post on X, Bugti said equipping women with modern business skills, digital tools, and entrepreneurial opportunities remains a key part of the government’s vision.
He said the provincial government would continue introducing practical initiatives to strengthen women’s financial independence and professional skills, enabling them to contribute to their families as well as the economic development of Balochistan and Pakistan.
The chief minister also commended Provincial Minister Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi and the Women Development Department for successfully implementing the program.
Separately, Buledi said 500 women completed the program’s first phase and received business training and digital skills education. Graduates were awarded tablets, business toolkits, and certificates upon completing the training.

She said empowering women is essential to building a stronger Balochistan and pledged to expand opportunities for women across the province through similar initiatives.
