QUETTA: At least one terrorist was killed and two others were wounded after Pakistani security forces targeted a group of militants with mortar fire during an intelligence-based operation near Bulbul Sharif Bagh in Khuzdar area of Balochistan, security officials said.
According to officials, security forces detected six members of Fitna al Hindustan (FAH) through aerial surveillance during an ongoing operation in Khuzdar
Video footage released by the security forces shows the suspects running through an orchard after spotting a surveillance drone. The footage appears to show them fleeing across open fields while being tracked from the air.
Security forces continued to monitor the suspects’ movements before directing mortar fire at their location, officials said. One terrorist was killed and two others were wounded in the strike. Three suspects escaped the area.
Security forces have launched a clearance operation to locate the remaining suspects.
