ISLAMABAD: The scheduled visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Switzerland has been postponed.
The decision follows the successful electronic signing and immediate implementation of the historic Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Because the core agreement has already been formally executed through electronic means, the requirement for an immediate high-level physical signing ceremony has shifted.
Moving forward, technical-level talks focusing on multiple complex issues embedded within the comprehensive framework of the Islamabad MoU will be conducted separately by designated delegations.
The entry into force of the MoU marks a pivotal shift in the implementation strategy, transitioning the process from leadership-level diplomatic travel to specialized technical and operational reviews.
