ISLAMABAD: A massive drop in gold and silver prices has been recorded in the bullion markets within a single day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association:
- Per Tola Gold (24K): Decreased by 15,500 PKR, bringing the new price down to 476,862 PKR.
- 10 Grams Gold: Dropped by 13,289 PKR, fixing the new price at 408,832 PKR.
- Per Tola Silver: Fell by 972 PKR, settling at 8,232 PKR.
Meanwhile, in the international market, gold prices witnessed a major decline of $155, bringing the rate down to $4,545 per ounce.
