New Delhi: Indian media has claimed that Scotland has been included in the ICC T20 World Cup in place of Bangladesh.
According to reports in Indian media, the ICC is expected to make an official announcement shortly.
Bangladesh had refused to accept India’s “hardline stance” and had taken a principled decision not to send their team to play in India.
They also stated that they would discuss the matter again with the ICC, as the ICC had not addressed Bangladesh’s concerns.
Bangladeshi players reportedly face security threats in India.
However, Indian media reported a short while ago that following Bangladesh’s refusal to participate in the mega event in India, Scotland will now be made part of the tournament.
