Harnai: According to police sources, unidentified armed men targeted five coal mines in the Thal Leases coal mine area of Harnai, setting fire to vital machinery installed at the sites.
In this destructive act of militants destroying development infrastructure across Balochistan, valuable equipment including three engines and two compressors were burned to ashes.
The targeted coal mines belong to contractors Abdul Khaliq, Hazrat, Muhammad Nabi, Sheikh Muhammad, and Najeeb, who suffered severe financial losses running into millions of rupees.
Immediately upon receiving information regarding the incident, a heavy contingent of law enforcement personnel and security forces arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and initiated comprehensive investigations to track down the culprits.
