Petrol and Power Crisis : Government Takes Emergency Measures

Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has issued urgent directives to tackle the ongoing petrol crisis in the province.

He assured the public that petrol shortages would not be allowed and emphasized that even if an emergency has to be declared, the government will not hesitate.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly has summoned the Chairman of QESCO tomorrow to address the severe electricity load shedding affecting the region.

The petrol crisis has intensified across Balochistan, including the provincial capital, Quetta. Citizens are struggling to find fuel, and the limited petrol available at stations is being sold at an inflated price of Rs. 350 per liter. In addition to the fuel shortage, Quetta is also facing a worsening electricity crisis, with many areas experiencing prolonged outages throughout the night.
