What will the weather be like on Eid-ul-Adha? The Meteorological Department has told

The Director of the Meteorological Department Irfan Virk has said that temperatures are expected to rise across the country after the ongoing spell of rain comes to an end, with the intensity of heat likely to increase during the days of Eid-ul-Adha.

Irfan Virk stated that another system of rain is expected before Eid; however, he noted that a final forecast regarding the upcoming weather conditions cannot yet be confirmed. He added that weather experts are closely monitoring the developing system and further details would be shared in the coming days.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert for the next 12 to 24 hours in several parts of the country. According to officials, different regions may continue to experience unstable weather conditions during this period.

Irfan Virk said that the city is likely to witness pleasant weather for the next two days. However, he warned that temperatures are expected to rise again afterward, bringing back hot weather conditions.

He further said that upper and northeastern areas of پنجاب are also expected to receive rainfall during the next 24 to 48 hours.

The Director of Meteorology stated that the city is currently not experiencing the intense heat recorded at the beginning of May. Nevertheless, temperatures are expected to remain relatively high.

He added that weather conditions in Karachi are likely to stay stable and comparatively better over the next two days.
