ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has released a nationwide weather forecast for the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
According to Director Met Irfan Virk, speaking exclusively with Express, a current weather system is expected to bring rain to parts of Upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the next two days.
Key details from the forecast include:
- Lahore & Punjab: While Lahore is expected to enjoy pleasant weather for the next 48 hours, temperatures are predicted to rise again shortly after.
- Similar rain patterns are expected across Upper and Northeastern Punjab within the same 24 to 48-hour window.
- Karachi: Although the city is not currently experiencing the extreme heat seen in early May, temperatures will remain high.
- However, residents can expect slightly improved conditions over the next two days.
