Karachi: Quetta Gladiators defeated Lahore Qalandars by 6 wickets in a Pakistan Super League match. Chasing a target of 135 runs, Quetta achieved the total on the second ball of the 17th over.
Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for 134 runs on the fifth ball of the 20th over.
Haseebullah Khan scored 33 runs, while Usama Mir made 22 and Fakhar Zaman added 20 runs.
For Quetta, Usman Tariq and Jehan Dad Khan took three wickets each, while Alzarri Joseph claimed two wickets.
Quetta had a poor start as Shamyl Hussain was dismissed for a duck and captain Saud Shakeel scored just one run.
However, Rilee Rossouw and Hasan Nawaz steadied the innings with a crucial 104-run partnership for the third wicket.
Hasan Nawaz scored 49 off 32 balls, hitting two sixes and six fours, while Rossouw remained unbeaten on 60 off 49 balls with two sixes and five fours.
Bevan Jacob smashed two sixes for his unbeaten 14 off six balls.
