PCB makes big announcement before PSL final

LAHORE : With the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 reaching its thrilling climax, all eyes are on Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, where Peshawar Zalmi will take on Hyderabad Kings in the final on Sunday. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a record-breaking prize pool, including separate franchise awards for the first time in the tournament’s history.

 

The winning team will walk away with $500,000, while the runner-up will receive $200,000. In a historic move, the PCB has also introduced distinct prize money for franchises. The franchise with the best player development program will be awarded $200,000, and an additional $500,000 has been specially allocated for the players of the winning team.

 

Peshawar Zalmi, who finished as runners-up in the 2018, 2019, and 2021 seasons, will be desperate to break the drought. The Zalmi management and their passionate fans are hopeful that this time the title will finally come their way.

 

Tickets Sold Out, Grand Musical Concert Planned

 

Cricket fans have been instructed to arrive at the stadium by 6 pm. All tickets for the final have been sold out, promising a packed house at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium.

 

The excitement will begin with a grand closing ceremony before the match. Famous singers Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Aima Baig, and the Sabri Sisters will deliver electrifying performances, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
