ISLAMABAD: The video has surfaced allegedly showing Aman, identified by authorities as the leader of the banned Joint Action Committee, making provocative remarks and issuing threats during a gathering.
The video has created renewed concerns over the activities of the proscribed organization and its alleged efforts to incite violence and challenge the state’s authority.
The banned Joint Action Committee has long been accused by authorities of promoting inflammatory narratives, spreading misinformation, and encouraging violent activities through armed groups.
In this sense, Aman is heard referring to an alleged attack on security forces in the Baloch (Baithak) area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He allegedly claims responsibility for the incident and warns that similar actions could be carried out elsewhere if the group’s demands are not addressed according to its expectations.
The statements have drawn serious attention from security and law enforcement circles.
However, security analysts say the content, if verified, indicates an attempt to promote anti-state rhetoric and intimidate institutions through threats of violence.
Meanwhile, the officials have reasserted that law enforcement agencies remain committed to safeguarding public security and taking legal action against individuals found involved in unlawful or violent activities.
