ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways has decided to operate three special trains for Eid al-Azha to facilitate passengers travelling during the holiday season.
According to the schedule, each Eid special train will consist of seven to eight coaches.
The first special train will depart from Quetta to Karachi on May 23.
The second Eid train will leave Karachi for Rawalpindi via Multan, Faisalabad and Sargodha on May 24.
The third special train will depart from Karachi for Lahore on May 25.
Officials noted that, for the first time, Peshawar has not been included in the Eid special train operations. No Eid special train will run to Peshawar from Karachi, Lahore or Quetta during the holiday period.
