QUETTA : The Balochistan government has issued public advertisements seeking information on nine highly wanted women accused of spreading unrest and actively collaborating with terrorist elements across the province, authorities announced on Wednesday.
According to the official notification, a cash reward ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 1.5 Millions has been announced for each of the nine suspects, who are reportedly operating in various coastal districts. The wanted women belong to different areas of Gwadar, Jiwani, Turbat, and Pasni, signaling a heightened security alert in the province’s strategic southern belt.
The government has made a fervent appeal to the public, urging citizens to come forward with any credible information that could lead to the arrest of these individuals. In a move designed to encourage cooperation, authorities have guaranteed that the identity of any informant will be kept completely confidential.
“The reward will be distributed strictly in accordance with the established rules and regulations,” read the official statement, which also provided a dedicated helpline for the public. Citizens have been directed to contact the Makran Madagaar number at 1244 to share any relevant information regarding the whereabouts or activities of the wanted women.
The development underscores the provincial administration’s intensified crackdown on militant networks operating in the coastal regions, as security forces continue to face challenges from both male and female operatives allegedly linked to subversive activities.
