MASTUNG: Security forces killed three militants, including a commander of a militant group, during an intelligence-based operation in Mastung district of Balochistan, security sources said on Monday.
According to the sources, security forces carried out the operation after receiving intelligence about militant activity in the area.
During the operation, forces targeted a vehicle carrying the militants with a quadcopter. The strike completely destroyed the vehicle and killed all three militants on board, including a commander identified as Naqeeb, the sources said.
Security forces have launched a clearance operation in the area and are conducting further investigations, according to the sources.
The sources said security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism and will continue operations against militants until the threat is eliminated.
