KHUZDAR: In a series of targeted operations, Khuzdar Police have dealt significant blows to criminal networks across the district, arresting several suspects and recovering stolen property, weapons, and cash.
The most notable achievement came from SHO City Munir Alam Jatak and his team, who demonstrated exceptional efficiency by arresting three suspects within just four hours of reported incidents. The accused, identified as Abdul Wahab, Ijaz Ahmed, and Sanaullah, were apprehended with 08 stolen mobile phones, a Honda 125 motorcycle, and stolen cash in their possession.
According to police officials, the arrested individuals were involved in a recent snatching incident where they had stolen a student’s mobile phone and motorcycle. In a separate occurrence, they had snatched a Honda motorcycle and mobile phone from a citizen at gunpoint. Further investigation revealed their involvement in approximately five additional mobile phone snatching incidents across the city. A case (No. 160/26) has been registered against them under Section 392 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
In a parallel operation, police arrested accused Ali Ahmed and recovered a pistol from his possession. A case (No. 162/26) has been filed against him under Section 15-D of the Arms Ordinance for illegal weapon possession.
Another successful operation led to the arrest of suspect Zafar, from whom a stolen motorcycle was recovered. Police have registered case number 173/26 under Section 381-A of the Pakistan Penal Code in this matter.
In a separate raid, accused Musa was taken into custody with a pistol, leading to the registration of case number 164/26 under Section 15-D of the Arms Ordinance.
Demonstrating remarkable swiftness, police also apprehended suspect Aftab alias Atty within two hours of receiving intelligence. Two stolen mobile phones were recovered from his possession during the operation.
District Khuzdar Police have reiterated their commitment to conducting indiscriminate operations against criminal elements, armed suspects, and anti-social elements. The police force has vowed to ensure the protection of public life and property while maintaining law and order and upholding the rule of law at all costs.
Authorities have appealed to citizens to cooperate with law enforcement in preventing crimes and have urged residents to immediately report any suspicious activity to their relevant police station or through the police helpline.
