Hanna-e-Aurak Govt, Tribal Elders Agree on Joint Security Checkpost

QUETTA: In a move to bolster law and order in the region, the Home Department of Balochistan, acting on the directives of the Chief Minister, has decided to establish a joint security check post in Kali Babri, Hanna-e-Aurak.

According to an official announcement by Babar Yousafzai, Assistant to the Home Department, the new post will be jointly manned by the police and the Frontier Corps (FC). The decision comes after the local population offered land for the facility, aiming to make security operations more effective through community cooperation.

The Home Department has issued formal instructions to both the Police and FC authorities to submit a comprehensive joint report at the earliest. The report must detail the proposed location, required personnel, and necessary resources for the operationalisation of the check post.

Babar Yousafzai emphasised that the primary objective of the new joint post is to further strengthen law and order, ensure a rapid emergency response, and improve security coordination in the area. The initiative is seen as a key step towards enhancing public safety and inter-agency synergy in the Hanna-e-Aurak region.
