KARACHI: The hand grenade attack was reported at the main entrance of the KTC Rangers Headquarters in Karachi on Saturday, according to security sources.
The explosion triggered an immediate response from law enforcement and security agencies, which swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to ensure the safety of the public and assess the situation.
In this regard, there are several individuals are being taken into custody by security agencies as part of the ongoing investigation. However, officials have not yet confirmed the identities of those detained or their possible involvement in the incident.
In addition, Chaman Iqbal Colony and surrounding roads have been temporarily closed to traffic as security personnel continue clearance and investigation operations.
In this sense, the security has been heightened in the vicinity, with additional personnel deployed to maintain law and order and prevent any further security threats.
