GWADAR: The case has been registered against Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan chief and Gwadar MPA Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman over alleged interference with security personnel and misconduct at a security checkpost in Gwadar.

The FIR states that the alleged incident took place near the 15-C checkpost on Pishukan Road in Gwadar. The video showing the incident later circulated widely on social media, drawing public attention to the matter.
According to the FIR, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman allegedly interfered with security personnel while they were performing their official duties and behaved inappropriately with the officials.
The allegations have been formally recorded in the police case and remain subject to investigation.
The FIR also contains allegations that his conduct could have contributed to creating resentment or provoking public sentiment against security institutions. Police said the case was registered on the basis of the video footage and other available evidence related to the incident.
However, the allegations contained in an FIR do not by themselves establish guilt, and the matter will be determined through the legal and investigative process.
