QUETTA: Pakistani security forces killed four suspected militants during an intelligence-based operation in the southwestern town of Dalbandin, officials said on Monday.
The raid targeted a suspected hideout in the Zahoor Colony area after security forces received intelligence about the presence of militants.
According to officials, the four men were affiliated with the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), which Pakistan designates as a terrorist organization.
Security forces also recovered a large cache of explosives and other materials allegedly intended for sabotage during the operation.
Officials said the recovered material was taken into custody for further investigation. No further details were immediately released.
