ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army spokesperson, Lieutenant General Chaudhry Ahmed Sharif, stated that three major terrorist incidents occurred over the past three days.
Briefing on the security situation in Balochistan, the DG ISPR noted that the Fitna al-Khawarij targeted innocent civilians near the Mangi Pumping Station, while a police check post was attacked in Ziarat.
During the initial operation, 9 police personnel were martyred, and 15 terrorists were eliminated. As security forces tightened the cordon, the retreating terrorists martyred another 18 police officers.
All the police personnel martyred in Ziarat were locals. In total, 42 security personnel, including 27 police officers, embraced martyrdom, while 54 Khariji terrorists were killed.
The DG ISPR explicitly stated that Fitna al-Khawarij is being backed by the Afghan Taliban regime, with India driving the operations because the enemy cannot tolerate Balochistan’s progress.
He revealed that three out of the four terrorists involved in the recent Karachi attack were Afghan nationals, emphasizing that all illegally residing Afghans will be deported from the country.
Sending a clear warning, he stated that Balochistan is the pride and life of Pakistan, adding that if anyone lays a hand on Pakistan’s children and soldiers, there will be no dialogue.
He concluded by reiterating that operations will continue until terrorism is completely eradicated, as no power on earth can bring Pakistan down.
