SAHILWAL: Three Children from the Same Family Die of Suspected Measles in Kabirwala
Three young children from the same family died of suspected measles over the course of three days in Mouza Shukarwala, a suburban area of Kabirwala, causing widespread concern in the region.
Upon receiving information about the incident, health department teams rushed to the area and initiated screening.
According to the Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO), screening procedures identified measles symptoms in five additional children, who were subsequently transferred to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.
The health department stated that affected children are currently receiving medical care, while the definitive confirmation of measles and the exact cause of death will be determined following thorough medical examinations and final reports.
