NOSHKI : Authorities have imposed a curfew in the Noshki district of Balochistan due to the worsening law and order situation, restricting all public movement until July 31.
According to an official notification issued by the Home Department, the curfew will remain in effect from 8 pm on the day of issuance until 8 pm on July 31. During this period, residents are completely prohibited from leaving their homes or moving around without prior permission.
The notification states that all public gatherings, processions, and unnecessary travel will be banned throughout the curfew period. However, the Deputy Commissioner has been authorized to grant exemptions to government employees, as well as medical, rescue, and utility staff to ensure the continuation of essential services.
Authorities have warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the curfew regulations. The decision comes as part of efforts to restore order in the district amid growing security concerns.
Earlier this month security forces have killed four terrorists during a fresh operation in Balochistan’s Noshki district.
The latest action is part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign launched on July 5. Officials said the operation targeted suspected militant hideouts in the area, resulting in the elimination of four militants.
In this regard, as per the official update, the total number of suspected militants killed since the launch of Operation Shaaban has now exceeded 100.
The operation has been continuing across different areas with the objective of disrupting militant networks and improving the overall security situation in the province.
