NOSHKI: The security forces have killed four terrorists during a fresh operation in Balochistan’s Noshki district.
The latest action is part of the ongoing counterterrorism campaign launched on July 5. Officials said the operation targeted suspected militant hideouts in the area, resulting in the elimination of four militants.
In this regard, as per the official update, the total number of suspected militants killed since the launch of Operation Shaaban has now exceeded 100.
The operation has been continuing across different areas with the objective of disrupting militant networks and improving the overall security situation in the province.
Meanwhile, the security officials stated that intelligence-based operations and targeted actions remain underway as part of the broader campaign against terrorist elements.
They confirmed the commitment of security forces to continue operations until militant infrastructure and networks are dismantled.
Balochistan has witnessed a series of security challenges in recent years, prompting authorities to intensify counterterrorism efforts in various districts.
The latest development comes as security agencies continue to monitor the situation closely and conduct operations based on actionable intelligence.
Government and security officials have repeatedly emphasized that operations against terrorist groups will continue in accordance with national security objectives.
They have also reasserted their resolve to maintain peace and stability through coordinated efforts involving law enforcement and security institutions.
However, Operation Shaaban remains ongoing, with security forces continuing search and clearance activities in affected areas. Officials say the campaign is aimed at preventing future attacks, eliminating terrorist threats, and strengthening long-term security across Balochistan.
