QUETTA: Under the special directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove, comprehensive and foolproof security arrangements were implemented across Quetta and the rest of Balochistan to maintain law and order and safeguard citizens on the auspicious occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal and the Milad Processions were peacefully held Across Balochistan.
As a result, all Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) religious processions concluded peacefully.
Talking to APP, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Home Affairs, Babar Khan Yousafzai, stated that exemplary security measures were in place throughout the province.
He paid rich tribute to the police, Frontier Corps (FC), and other security personnel for performing their duties with utmost responsibility, professionalism, and dedication.
He noted that a proactive security plan was finalized well before the event.
Special deployments were made along procession routes, main highways, sensitive locations, and critical installations. Security officials remained highly alert and prioritized the safety of participants and the general public.
Additionally, effective measures were taken to regulate traffic flow and prevent public inconvenience.
Highlighting his personal observation while participating in Quetta’s central procession, Yousafzai praised the alertness and professional conduct of the security forces.
He emphasized that maintaining peace during such a significant religious gathering was a major responsibility, which the law enforcement agencies fulfilled brilliantly through strategic planning, close coordination, and vigilant oversight.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, the Adviser on Home Affairs stated that the Balochistan government is utilizing all available resources to ensure public safety and strengthen inter-agency cooperation during religious festivals and public gatherings.

Finally, Yousafzai expressed deep gratitude to the citizens, religious scholars, procession organizers, and participants for their exemplary cooperation with law enforcement agencies, which greatly contributed to celebrating the sacred occasion with complete peace, devotion, and religious fervor across the province.
