Balochistan Citizens Reject BYC Agenda and Demand Action for Peace

Quetta: Public and social circles of Balochistan have firmly rejected the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s (BYC) agenda to divide Pakistan.

In a public survey, citizens from across the province—including Afrasiab Rind, Zirak Baloch, Kamran Zehri, Asrarullah Baledi, Shams-ur-Rehman Mengal, and Imdad Bangulzai—stated that the BYC is a movement fueling bloodshed and chaos under the guise of human rights and Baloch identity.

The residents pointed out that for the first time in Balochistan, Mahrang Langove, Sammi Deen, and their associates are openly demanding that national security institutions dismantle their checkpoints and leave the province.

These citizens highlighted that during sit-ins and public rallies, BYC leaders explicitly declared that anyone entering Balochistan in the future would need a visa and a passport.

Furthermore, they noted that the BYC leadership is completely unwilling to negotiate on any matter with either the Balochistan government or the state of Pakistan.

According to the citizens, the movement only superficially talks about Baloch rights.

In reality, just as genuine hope for progress and rights emerged for the people, the BYC deliberately sabotaged local welfare and development projects to push the province back into despair, anarchy, and hatred.

The surveyed individuals stated that the movement has absolutely no interest in uplifting the living standards of the Baloch people, creating jobs, or opening educational pathways. Instead, the leadership uses toxic propaganda against development initiatives, inciting people to attack and destroy the very projects meant for their own betterment.

Consequently, the citizens of Balochistan demand that the remaining leadership of this destructive movement be imprisoned immediately so the province can move forward on the path of peace, development, and prosperity.
