Operating in Bahawalpur, the NCCIA Punjab apprehended a student who poisoned his father, exposing a home laboratory set up by the youth, who was inspired by crime dramas.
The suspect procured chemical materials from Australia and Islamabad to manufacture the poison, and after a failed initial attempt to poison his father, he sought further guidance from AI.
Acting on intelligence received from abroad, the Director of the NCCIA conducted the operation and arrested the suspect, with the incident raising critical questions about the misuse of artificial intelligence and children’s online activities.
