Web Desk – Russian media reports indicate that President Donald Trump has ordered the Pentagon to bomb Iran with “full force” following the deaths of two American soldiers in Jordan. The president broke his silence on the incident, which he attributed to Iranian missile attacks, calling it “extremely regrettable.”
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss, President Trump stated he would never permit Iran to obtain nuclear weapons. He further asserted that if Iran is not implementing the existing deal, the United States “is not worried either.” Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pat Hegseth remarked that the soldiers’ sacrifice has only strengthened America’s resolve.
Meanwhile Two US Soldiers Killed, One Missing in Jordan After Iranian Strikes
Two American service members were killed in action and one remains missing in Jordan following Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks on July 17, marking the first US military fatalities from Iranian fire since March, the US Central Command announced Saturday.
According to a social media post by CENTCOM, the two soldiers were killed while defending alongside partner forces against the Iranian strikes. Four additional American personnel sustained injuries and were medically evacuated to hospitals in Jordan but have since been discharged, while others who suffered minor wounds have returned to duty.
CENTCOM stated that it will withhold the identities of the fallen service members until 24 hours after their next of kin have been notified. The command did not provide further details on the circumstances surrounding the missing soldier or the exact location of the attacks within Jordan.
