Govt Committee to Resolve Kach Mangi Land Disputes

CM Sarfraz Bugti urges youth to reject terrorism

QUETTA: The Balochistan government has established a high-level committee to address longstanding land and revenue disputes in the Kach Mangi area, following directives from Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.

According to an official notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), the committee has been mandated to conduct a comprehensive review of revenue records, land ownership issues, and other related matters in the region. The body will prepare recommendations aimed at resolving the protracted disputes.

The committee will be chaired by the Minister for the Board of Revenue and includes the Commissioner of Sibi Division, the Deputy Commissioner of Ziarat, the Director General of Mines and Minerals, a representative of the Senior Member of the Board of Revenue, and three local representatives from the Kach Mangi area.

The provincial government has directed the committee to submit its report within 15 days, allowing authorities to make a transparent, effective, and lasting decision on the matter. The committee will examine all aspects of the disputes before presenting practical and comprehensive recommendations to the provincial government.
