QUETTA: A joint anti-terrorist initiative, “Operation Shaban,” led by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and the police, is actively underway.
The security forces are conducting coordinated aerial and ground strikes targeting Fitna al-Khawarij militants in the region.
According to security sources, three more terrorists were neutralized during the latest operations, bringing the specific death toll of Operation Shaban to 67.
Additionally, four more militants were killed during recent actions in the Saran Tangi area.
Security officials confirmed that since July 5, a total of 105 terrorist operatives have been eliminated across Operation Shaban and parallel intelligence-based operations.
They reiterated that the crackdown in Balochistan will continue until the last remaining terrorist is eliminated.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi lauded the security forces for their consecutive successes in the operation.
Paying tribute to the bravery and professionalism of the personnel involved, Naqvi stated that the joint actions reflect a resolute commitment to safeguarding national security.
He emphasized that there is no place for terrorist elements on Pakistani soil and reaffirmed the nation’s unwavering support for the armed forces in completely eradicating terrorism.
