WASHINGTON : U.S. President Donald Trump has once again declared victory over Iran in the ongoing conflict, asserting that the United States military remains the most powerful fighting force in the world.
Speaking to reporters before departing for Turkey to attend the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump said that “things are going well” with Iran while also praising the performance of U.S. forces in Venezuela, without elaborating on specific operations.
The President also amplified a post shared by the Israel Heritage Foundation and an Israeli minister, which lauded Trump as “one of Israel’s strongest allies.” The post highlighted his administration’s role in moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, his tough stance on Iran, and the brokering of the Abraham Accords normalizing ties between Israel and several Arab nations.
Trump Heads to Ankara for NATO Summit
President Trump departed for Turkey to attend the two-day NATO summit beginning today in Ankara. Speaking to reporters, he described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as his “friend” and a “dignified leader,” emphasizing that his decision to attend was driven solely by his personal relationship with Erdogan.
