Bilawal Warns India , Vows to Protect Kashmir Cause

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, declared that any attempts to damage the Kashmir cause will be fiercely defeated.

Addressing a joint session of Parliament, he warned that if India persists in cutting off Pakistan’s water supply, the nation is fully prepared for war, emphasizing that every citizen is ready to fight to protect the country’s water resources.

Turning to internal matters, Bilawal addressed the recent unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), warning that strict action will be taken against anyone taking the law into their own hands.

He urged peaceful protestors to distance themselves from miscreants, noting that politics is being played under the guise of refugee seats, and that the current instability in AJK is harming Pakistan’s global stance on the Kashmir issue.

He asserted that the people of Azad Kashmir will not be allowed to fall into the trap of Indian conspiracies.

On national development and security, Bilawal announced that all provinces have agreed to jointly fund the federation, with a unified commitment to ensure the timely construction of the Diamer-Bhasha and other critical dams.

He also highlighted provincial grievances, noting that Sindh and Balochistan have been raised water shortage complaints with IRSA (Indus River System Authority) for the past month.

Finally, he condemned external interference, stating that a nexus between India and Israel has been exposed in Balochistan’s terrorism, pointing out that convicted spy Kulbhushan Jadhav certainly did not enter Balochistan for a picnic.
