BANNU: Police and security forces conducted a successful joint intelligence-based operation in Shad Khan Kallah, a suburban village in the Jani Khel area of Bannu, effectively targeting a terrorist hideout.
During the intense operation, four terrorists (Khwarij) were killed while another was critically injured.
According to security sources, the eliminated terrorists were directly involved in the recent militant attack on the Fateh Khel police station and had been actively pursued by law enforcement agencies.
A clearance operation remains underway in the area to locate any remaining facilitators and fleeing militants.
This targeted action is part of the ongoing operations under Azm-e-Istehkam and the National Action Plan to systematically eliminate terrorists and their support networks.
