ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday paid glowing tributes to the security forces for a successful intelligence-based operation against terrorists of the outlawed outfit Fitna-ul-Hindustan in the Nausham area of Barkhan district, Balochistan.
The operation resulted in the killing of seven terrorists. However, it also brought the ultimate sacrifice from five brave soldiers, including an officer.
President Asif Ali Zardari specifically honored Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti and other personnel who were martyred during the intense exchange of fire. In a statement, the President said the martyrs have rendered immense sacrifices for the peace, security, and defense of the beloved homeland.
“The nation will always remember the sacrifices of its brave martyrs and ghazis,” President Zardari said, offering prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for patience for their grieving families. He firmly asserted that the nefarious intentions of Fitna-ul-Hindustan and all anti-national elements will be foiled at all costs.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif also praised the officers and personnel of the security forces for their flawless execution of the operation, which eliminated seven terrorists of Fitna-ul-Hindustan in Barkhan, Balochistan.
The Prime Minister paid heartfelt tribute to the fallen heroes: Major Tauseef Ahmed Bhatti Shaheed, Naik Fida Hussain Shaheed, Sepoy Zakir Hussain Shaheed, Sepoy Sohail Ahmed Shaheed, and Sepoy Muhammad Ayaz Shaheed. He highlighted that these brave men sacrificed their lives while valiantly protecting the homeland during the operation.
“These great sons of the country set a powerful example of loyalty while protecting the nation from terrorists,” the Prime Minister said, also paying homage to the families of the martyrs for their resilience and sacrifice.
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif affirmed that the Pakistani nation will never forget the great sacrifices of its martyrs, noting that the officers and personnel of the security forces remain committed day and night to defending the homeland.
“The entire nation, including me, stands by our brave security forces in their unwavering resolve to protect the beloved homeland,” the Prime Minister concluded, echoing the President’s sentiment that the fight against terrorism will continue unflinchingly.
