Foreign hands behind unrest in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD/BALOCHISTAN: A deep-rooted conspiracy orchestrated by hostile foreign powers continues to target Balochistan, aiming to derail Pakistan’s economic progress and regional stability.

The relentless campaign of violence, executed through proxy groups like the BLA and BLF, is a direct result of substantial funding, sophisticated weaponry, and tactical support provided by external adversaries, primarily the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and elements within India.

Evidence recovered from recent militant operations, including the “Herof 2.0” attacks, exposes a high level of foreign investment.

Militants are equipped with advanced military hardware—ranging from FN M16A4 rifles and M203 grenade launchers to high-tech thermal imaging systems and night vision goggles—valued at thousands of dollars per insurgent.

The sheer cost and origin of this equipment confirm that these groups are not indigenous “freedom fighters” struggling with poverty, but highly-funded mercenaries acting as the kinetic arm of foreign intelligence agencies.

This external interference seeks to push Pakistan toward the turmoil seen in conflict zones like Libya and Iraq. By targeting critical development infrastructure, prestigious educational institutions, and CPEC-related projects such as Gwadar, these proxies aim to create a vacuum of governance and economic stagnation.

In 2025 alone, over 1,500 violent incidents were recorded, specifically designed to instill fear and disrupt the social fabric of the province.

Pakistan is now responding with a multidimensional strategy. Beyond security operations, the state is implementing rigorous border management reforms—including passport-mandatory crossings—to choke the financial and logistical networks of these terror cells.

Simultaneously, the government is accelerating socio-economic uplift through universities and medical colleges, ensuring that the people of Balochistan are empowered to reject the destructive narrative imposed upon them by foreign masters.
