Pakistan’s Leadership Praised for Role in US-Iran Ceasefire: CM Bugti

JACOBABAD: Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti praised Pakistan’s leadership for playing a commendable role in easing tensions between the United States and Iran.

Speaking to media in Jacobabad, he said the crisis had affected the entire region, but Pakistan’s efforts helped prevent further escalation.

He credited the Prime Minister and the President for raising Pakistan’s global profile, saying the world’s attention is now firmly on Islamabad.

Bugti said conditions in Balochistan have improved and that the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran is a matter of pride for the province and the country.

He added that Pakistan has regained its lost standing on the international stage and effectively blocked the risk of a potentially catastrophic war.

“Without Pakistan’s intervention, the conflict could have devastated neighboring countries and destabilized the entire region,” he said.
