Mohsin Naqvi Meets US Envoy Ahead of Islamabad Talks on Iran Ceasefire

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held a key meeting with US Envoy Natalie Baker to discuss the current situation in the Middle East and the recent ceasefire.

Both leaders welcomed the ceasefire and praised Pakistan’s positive and proactive diplomatic role in the region.

The meeting also covered arrangements for high-level talks scheduled in Islamabad.

Minister Naqvi said U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Steve Whitcov, and Jared Kushner will attend Pakistan as special guests.

He added that a comprehensive security plan has been drawn to protect all foreign delegates.

Ambassador Baker lauded Pakistan’s sincere efforts to promote regional peace and praised ongoing diplomatic initiatives.

Officials said the talks aim to strengthen cooperation and ensure stability in the Middle East.

Pakistan continues to play a central role in facilitating dialogue and supporting diplomatic solutions in the region.
