Mohammed bin Salman to visit Pakistan soon

Riyadh: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, has announced that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is expected to visit Pakistan in the near future.

Speaking at a briefing held at the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh, Ambassador Farooq stated that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are further strengthening their cooperation across multiple sectors, including defense and beyond.

He highlighted that the Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement has given a new dimension to bilateral relations, with the strong ties delivering positive impacts on Pakistan’s economy.

The ambassador revealed that agreements are being finalized between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in eight key sectors, including information technology, agriculture, and textiles.

Ambassador Farooq noted that Pakistani exports to Saudi Arabia have reached an all-time high. During 2025, around 500,000 Pakistani workers arrived in Saudi Arabia, and currently more than 3 million Pakistanis are employed there.
