QUETTA: As many as eight fake candidates were caught while attempting the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) test in Quetta.
According to the vice chancellor of the Bolan Medical University Dr. Bashir Lehri, the captured candidates were attempting the test on someone else’s place.
He said that the cases have been filed against the eight candidates in the Airport Police Station and the outlaws have been arrested.
The VC Bolan has added the the arrested fake candidates were hires from Punjab and Sindh.
He further said that overall, the MDCAT was conducted in a superb way. The results will be announced in another five days.
It is worth mentioning that unfortunately Examination Cheating Rackets are not only common in Balochistan but at times they are highly influential and powerful. Many such cases happen that the fake candidates are hired from other places to attempt tests.
This is how some ineligible people get the positions in the educational institutes as well as in jobs.
The hard working and deserving people remain deprived from the opportunities and the merit get slaughtered.
Another major factor that is raising pessimism and frustration among the youth of Balochistan.
The powerful and the influential people get quality education and jobs despite not being on merit.
The talented and that capable people are left empty-handed only because they have no wealth or power.
Such chaos are the major cause of social imbalance, crimes and even factors leading to militancy across Balochistan.
The deprivation and the frustration of Balochistan could only be eliminated by the supremacy of merit and transparency.
However, the government and the concerning departments are trying to launch a system that discourages fake practices, cheating, corruption and irregularities.
The fruits and the opportunities provided by the state need to be delivered at the grass-root level to take Balochistan out of deprivation and chaos.
