QUETTA: Hot and dry weather will prevail across most districts of Balochistan, while heavy winds and thundershowers are expected in several areas, the Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.
According to the forecast, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Musakhel, Sibi, Kohlu, Loralai, Barkhan, Dera Bugti and Quetta are likely to receive rain accompanied by strong winds and thunder. Ziarat, Mastung, Naseerabad, Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat, Awaran, Kharan, Panjgur, Ormara, Pasni and Gwadar may also witness similar weather conditions.
The department warned that a few locations could experience heavy downpours.
In temperature updates, Quetta recorded a maximum of 32°C, while Kalat registered 27°C. Ziarat recorded 24°C, Zhob 30°C, Sibi 39°C and Turbat 38°C. Nokundi remained the hottest with 42°C, while Chaman recorded 34°C.

Along the coast, Gwadar saw a maximum of 32°C, while Jiwani recorded 30°C.
