Girls Cadet College Quetta students will shape future leadership: Governor

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail said that the students of Girls Cadet College Quetta hold immense promise and will emerge as future officers and doctors. He expressed confidence that the students will serve as role models for girls across the province.

Speaking during the visit of Girls Cadet College students to the Governor’s House Quetta, the Governor highlighted that visits to historical sites enhance analytical abilities and observation skills.

Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani and Principal of Girls Cadet College Quetta, Brigadier Mirza Faisal Baig, also joined the occasion. Welcoming the students to the Governor House for the first time, Governor Mandokhail said he hoped the visit would enrich their knowledge and broaden their perspective.

He stressed that the students are not only architects of Pakistan and Balochistan’s future but also vital contributors to the present. During the visit, the students toured British-era photographs, sculptures, historical relics, as well as rare birds and trees preserved in the Governor House.

In response to a question, the Governor announced that the provincial government is making efforts to arrange scholarships and laptops for the students. He appreciated the efforts of the Principal and faculty of Girls Cadet College, praising their commitment to providing quality education while also focusing on character building, which, he said, is producing a positive impact.

Governor Mandokhail added that the future belongs to the youth. He said that if Girls Cadet College Quetta continues its current progress, the day is not far when girls from other provinces will also seek admission here.
