PESHAWAR: A policeman was injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast near a police mobile van in Peshawar on Saturday.
As per initial reports, the IED blast occurred near a police vehicle within the jurisdiction of Gulbahar Police Station in the provincial capital.
According to police officials, the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted along the roadside.
As a result of the blast, the driver of the police vehicle, a police constable, sustained minor injuries.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. Further details are awaited.
