QUETTA: A special audit report has revealed financial irregularities amounting to Rs 4.15 billion between 2017 and 2022.
According to local private news channel, the audit uncovered that Rs 1.16 billion was disbursed under a scholarship program for postgraduate doctors without transparency. Additionally, medicines worth Rs 1.93 billion were procured without undergoing mandatory laboratory testing.
The audit also noted that documentation for expenditures totaling Rs 382.2 million was not provided to the audit team.

The audit report has been submitted to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) for further investigation.
