Iran Talks May Take Place on Friday, Says Trump

NEW YORK: U.S. President Donald Trump has said that the second round of negotiations with Iran could take place on Friday.

In an interview with the New York Post, he stated that there is positive news regarding the upcoming talks, and that both Iran and the United States may meet for the next round on Friday.

He further noted that developments are encouraging for continued dialogue between the two countries.

Separately, it was reported that the U.S. Vice President JD Vance postponed his visit to Pakistan after Iran did not send its negotiation team before a ceasefire deadline expired.

Following Pakistan’s request, President Trump also announced the continuation of the ceasefire.
