QUETTA: Multiple violent security incidents in Balochistan have been reported across Panjgur and Chagai districts, highlighting ongoing law and order challenges in the region.
According to a police statement issued in Panjgur, the unidentified body of a man was recovered from the Kaleri area of Parom and subsequently transferred to a local hospital for identification.
In a separate targeted shooting incident within the Katagari area of Gwarگو tehsil, Panjgur, unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants opened fire, killing a local resident identified as Mumtaz, son of Muhammad Amin.
Local law enforcement authorities have launched formal investigations into the shooting. Meanwhile, in the Chagai district, an arson attack targeted the Chhehter Bazaar rest house.
Two masked armed suspects riding motorcycles poured petrol on the building and set it ablaze around 3:30 AM, roughly five kilometers east of Dalbandin.
Local administration confirmed that no injuries or casualties were reported from the arson attack, and investigations concerning these latest security incidents in Balochistan remain ongoing.
