Security Forces Neutralize 218 Terrorists in Balochistan and KPK

ISLAMABAD :  Amid persistent attempts by hostile external actors to destabilize the nation, Pakistan’s security forces have delivered a decisive blow to militant networks.

Under the framework of the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, comprehensive intelligence-based operations conducted from August 1 through September 6, 2026, across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) successfully neutralized 218 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij.

Pakistan has repeatedly presented undeniable evidence to the international community regarding foreign sponsorship and logistical facilitation—particularly from India and Afghanistan—backing these subversive elements to create unrest, sow panic, and damage the country’s economic trajectory.

Despite these malicious designs, the resolute response of the Pakistan Army and security apparatus continues to dismantle terrorist infrastructure with unwavering professional excellence.

In Balochistan, security forces executed Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 across districts including Nushki, Washuk, Mastung, Panjgur, Sorab, Mach, Khuzdar, Peshin, Quetta, Kalat, and Sibi. These high-impact operations resulted in the elimination of 148 terrorists associated with Fitna al-Hindustan.

Key engagements included the neutralization of 7 terrorists in Nushki on August 1, 12 in Washuk and Mastung on August 6, 18 in Sorab on August 12, and 37 across multiple districts on August 21. Intensive operations in September further degraded militant capabilities, eliminating 21 terrorists in Peshin on September 1, followed by 48 more across Mastung, Quetta, Kalat, and Sibi on September 4.

Alongside these eliminations, security forces recovered vast caches of heavy ammunition and specialized terror equipment.

Simultaneously, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces pressed forward with Operation 11 Garaj to root out Fitna al-Khawarij.

Throughout August and early September, intelligence-led operations across regions such as North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Lower Dir, Hangu, Bannu, Orakzai, and Khyber resulted in 70 terrorists being sent to hell during August alone.

Momentum intensified in September, with 15 foreign-backed khawarij eliminated in North Waziristan on September 3, and an additional 21 neutralized across various KPK districts on September 6, 2026.

Throughout these extensive counter-terrorism operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam framework, safeguarding local civilian populations and ensuring public safety remained the highest operational priority.

The state’s security apparatus remains fully committed to eradicating the remnants of terrorism, protecting national sovereignty, and securing a peaceful future for the country.
