ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to arrive in Doha on Thursday with a high-level delegation, where he will hold key talks with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, officials said.
The prime minister, currently in Saudi Arabia, will undertake an official visit to Doha with a high-level delegation, where he will hold a key bilateral meeting with Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said on X.

During the visit, the two leaders will discuss bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and the broader regional situation. The trip forms part of Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen ties with Gulf countries.
Earlier, the prime minister visited Saudi Arabia, where he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah.
The two sides discussed regional developments, including Iran-US talks, as well as efforts to promote peace, stability, and bilateral cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar was also present during the meeting.
Officials said both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
Sharif had arrived in Saudi Arabia a day earlier, where he was received by Saudi officials and members of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission at Jeddah airport.
